Want to hit the trails?

For those of you who are visiting for the first time, welcome to ReganRides. As we travel more & work on the grand plan, we realised we have started to build a bit of a database of trips. If you would like to travel some of the routes you have seen, we have started to add these to the site as GPX files. These are free to access, however limited to site members (no charge to join).

Currently we have 4 WA rides available along with the first 8 days of our first NZ Twoup tour. These will be added to as we have a few rides planned in the coming months here in WA (just waiting for the weather to cool down) along with the 2023 & 2024 NZ rides still to finalise so keep checking back for updates.

We use the Garmin Montanta 750i for navigation while on the bike, however there is a bit of work done to create tracks in Gaia before importing the files to Basecamp & then loading for our trips. We are currently looking at options for navigation which could simplify the process however like the satellite contact & InReach extras we do have with the Garmin. Let us know any ideas or what you use for this.

Gaia allows us to check distances as we plan where we want to go, note waypoints for any places of interest & is so easy to use even Leigh has started adding to the files. The added benefit is that the file downloads are a single file with all the waypoints, accommodation & route marked to add to your chosen navigation device , hit the trails & you can find some locations like these.
